Cherie Alexandra Daly, AKA Cherie Jimenez, was born on June 23 in New York City. She is an American actress of Spanish and Sicilian decent. She was first noticed by a casting director at age 8 on the Lower East Side who encouraged her to get an agent. She was signed by Schuller Talent Agency at the age of 9. She attended the Third Street Music School Settlement for ballet and the Broadway Dance Center for musical theatre. Her first televison commercial was for Ovaltine. Cherie then booked national commercials for a Phillip Morris, Starlight Express, HBO Family, MTV and Nickelodeon. She also did voice over work for NYC Public Schools. Cherie did print work for Bradlee's, Delia's, and Mattel including Barbie's 40th birthday campaign.
At age 10 she auditioned and was accepted at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in Manhattan. She attended this school for Theatrical Arts.

Cherie was then cast by Joel Hopkins in the role of Maria in her first SAG independent film, Jump Tomorrow, at age 12. Cherie was the youngest actress invited to go for one month to the Sundance Film Makers Lab in Utah that summer. She was cast in Caucasia by Phil Bertelsen as Birdie, the lead, opposite of Jake Gyllenhaal, Connie Britton, Michael Beach, and Kerry Washington. She then was cast as Kevin's sister in Michael Cuesta's L.I.E.
In 2001, Cherie was living with her mother, Sandy, who was a single mom and living in Brooklyn. That year her Mom married David. They moved to White Plains and he adopted Cherie. Soon her brother, Dylan, was born. She graduated from White Plains High School. She auditioned for the Conservatory of Theater Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase College. She was accepted into the company of 26 actors who were chosen from 1700 applicants. She attended Purchase College for 1 year before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career in motion pictures. She continues to be managed by Kim Matuka who has represented her since she was 9. She is grateful to be signed with the magnificent Amsel, Eisenstadt, and Frazier and work with Nicole and Milton .
Cherie's LA credits include 2 national commercials for McDonald's and Verizon, both released on Valentine's Day in 2010 and 2012 respectively. She will be seen on an episode in the second season of HBO's The Newsroom as Chelsea. Also she can be seen in the Enderby Entertainment new upcoming horror movie, Blood Shed, as Jezebel.
