Attune body management

Today, I spent the morning hanging over 30 pieces of my art at a local therapy and wellness studio with the owner Lee Swayze. It isn’t often that I am able to see that many pieces of my work hung in a permanent setting. Usually, as an artist, when I am juried into a group show, I may have one or two pieces on display. At outdoor shows, I have my work in a tent, so although I can show more of my art, the walls are not firm. And the lighting is imperfect. This is a super opportunity.

I am happy to have my work on display where people can enjoy the colours and be exposed to abstract art that is affordable. My hope is that they learn to love it as much as I do. Making art is fun, but I the ultimate goal is to connect with others through a shared moment of understanding or at least communication through the art medium.

The one downside is that only clients of the studio can see the work in real life for now. But, I will be sharing photos and a video of the work in situ and hope others will get a sense of how it could work in their own homes.
