Diptych - 2 pieces each 30” x 30” acrylic and oil pastel on wood. The paintings are both framed in a white wooden float frame, although they can be sold without the frames.
My work continues to explore unusual color combinations, shapes and line, emphasizing the raw energy of the painting process and revealing the brush strokes. I feel the process is important to reveal to the viewer. The bright orange shape defined by a line brings a sense of joy, as does spring.
