It's a Beautiful Morning

CA$1,760.00

40” x 40” mixed media on wood. I was combining greens and blues in this abstract piece. And of course their opposite colour orange provides a punch. I also tried a neutral grey background which is unusual for me, but I was studying one of Alexandra Luke’s paintings, and noticed her use of neutral coloured backgrounds. I have been trying not to overdo paintings, not to overthink them. This piece was painted alongside “On the Fence”. They are shown together in the in situ photos.

I enjoy the sense of the “moment”. I hope you do too.
