I Will Survive

CA$1,730.00
Sold

48” x 36” x 1.5” Acrylic and oil stick on wood panel. This painting is now framed in a black wood floater frame, so the overall dimensions are approx 49.25” x 37.25” x 2.25”. It can be bought without the frame.

I was trying to create a depth to the painting and to also show the actual brush marks on the surface level. More and more I am trying to show the process in the final painting and to rely on mostly paint rather than other mark making devices. This piece is called I Will Survive as sometimes when I am trying new things it feels like a battle with the painting, more than an easy flow.
